Habitat Days1st Saturday of the month,
commencing at 10am. Of approximately two hours duration, these working bees consist of a variety of activities - revegetation, weeding, maintenance, plant propagation etc. These activities take place in Phillip Island Nature Parks reserves, including the Koala Conservation Centre. Koala Counts2nd Tuesday of the month
at 10am at the Koala Conservation Centre. Meet in the car park. A bird survey is also conducted. New comers/counters welcome. |
Silver Spade Days Held on the first Saturday in June
(coinciding with a Habitat Day). On this day donations of over $100 or more to Friends of the Koalas Habitat Fund are recognised with the planting of a tree at the Koala Conservation Centre. Donors names are also later recorded on a display board at the centre. |
